چکیده
تمثل سجلات البيانات الأثرية المصدر الرئيسي والأهم للمعلومات المتعلقة بإدارة مختلف مكونات البيئة التاريخية. وبسبب هذه الأهمية فقد شهدت العقود القليلة الماضية قيام الإدارات المعنية بالآثار في بعض البلدان بتطوير العديد من السجلات. تتناول الورقة تاريخ وتطور ودور قواعد الحفاظ على الموارد وإدارتها، وتقدم مراجعة لأنواع واستخداماتها كمصادر معلوماتية مهمة للإدارة والبحث والتعليم وأنظمة التخطيط. كما تسلط الضوء الممارسات الحالية والاتجاهات المستقبلية لعمليات تسجيل التراث الأثري. اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي القائم مسح ومراجعة الأدبيات المنشورة حول عدد دول العالم. توصلت إلى أن هناك تطور متسارع تقنيات عناصر الأثري، وأنه بالرغم العالم تمتلك اليوم متطورة إلا عددا كبيرا الدول لا تزال أطوارها الأولى حيث مواردها الأثرية. توصي بضرورة إيلاء هيئات الآثار أهمية كبيرة لقواعد وتطويرها بما يتناسب والتقنيات المستجدة مجالات الحوسبة، وتصميمها بحيث تلبي المتطلبات الجديدة لمختلف أنواع المستخدمين، وضرورة إدماجها ضمن الخطط والمشاريع التنموية ذات التأثير المباشر أو غير
